The 1889 WhiteGate Inn and Cottage
One of numerous examples of Art Deco architecture in town, the former Woolworth building is home to the Woolworth Walk gallery of local artists.
Heading home, I stopped at this scenic overlook on I-26/23 in Tennessee. It made up for not being able to drive on the closed northern section of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
One more photo, from a previous visit: in the garden of the WhiteGate, May 2011.
